Construction is officially underway on the replacement of Station 51, marking a significant milestone in one of the District's largest capital improvement projects.

The new Station 51 will be a modern, two-story, 20,740-square-foot facility designed to better support our firefighters, enhance emergency response capabilities, and meet the growing needs of the Gig Harbor community for decades to come.

Funded through the voter-approved 2022 Capital Facilities Bond, the new station represents the community's investment in public safety and the future of Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One. We are grateful for the trust and support of our residents, whose commitment is helping provide the facilities our firefighters need to continue serving the community safely and effectively.
