The Command Staff at Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One is comprised of the Fire Chief and four Deputy Chiefs. Together, they provide strategic leadership and organizational oversight to support the District's mission, vision, core values, and commitment to serving our community.

Appointed by the Board of Fire Commissioners, the Fire Chief is responsible for the overall leadership of the District, including strategic planning, organizational direction, policy development, and long-term financial stewardship. The Fire Chief works closely with the Board to ensure the District remains prepared to meet the evolving needs of the community.

Working under the direction of the Fire Chief, the Deputy Chiefs oversee their respective divisions and provide leadership in emergency response, operations, administration, training, prevention, logistics, and support services. They are responsible for managing personnel, resources, and key programs while ensuring the District maintains a high level of operational readiness and service.

Together, the Command Staff is committed to fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One continues to provide exceptional emergency services to the community.
