Crunch Time 2026: That's a Wrap!

Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One was proud to host Crunch Time 2026, bringing together 96 firefighters for three days of intensive, hands-on vehicle extrication training at our Training Campus.

With 100 vehicles available for training, participants worked through realistic rescue scenarios, explored different extrication techniques, and gained valuable experience using the tools and equipment needed to safely free people trapped in vehicles following a collision.

The goal of Crunch Time is simple: maximize hands-on training opportunities while strengthening the skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork firefighters rely on during vehicle rescue emergencies.

An event of this size takes an incredible amount of planning, preparation, and dedication. We extend a special thank you to the entire Crunch Time team for their hard work, along with our instructors, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and partner agencies who helped make this event possible.
