CPR, AED, and First Aid Training

We’re excited to offer a CPR/AED/First Aid class to the public. Below, you’ll find a list of available training dates along with detailed information about the course.

To register, simply scroll down to the bottom of this page and complete the online registration form. After you submit your registration, our office will confirm availability for your selected date. You’ll then receive an email with a link to make the required payment.

Important: To secure your spot in the course, please make your payment promptly. If the class is in high demand and fills up before we receive your payment, we may not be able to hold your reservation.

Certification valid for two years
Class Time Offered: 9:00 am - 1:30 pm


Gig Harbor Fire Medic One proudly offers American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid training to the public, providing essential lifesaving skills for everyday emergencies. This comprehensive course is designed for community members who want to be prepared to respond confidently and effectively in critical situations.


What the Training Covers:

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for adults, children, and infants
  • AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use and safety
  • First Aid for common injuries and medical emergencies, including bleeding, burns, choking, and more
  • Emergency Response Skills to help you stay calm and take action until professional help arrives

  • Hands-on practice with certified instructors from Gig Harbor Fire Medic One
  • Blended learning options combining online coursework with in-person skills sessions
  • Two-year Red Cross certification upon successful completion
  • Ideal for parents, teachers, coaches, caregivers, and anyone who wants to be ready to help in an emergency

As part of its mission to build safer communities, the American Red Cross offers CPR/AED/First Aid training to the public. These courses teach individuals how to respond confidently in emergencies, perform CPR, use an AED, and provide basic first aid—skills that can save lives at home, at work, or in public settings.
