ASHI CPR/AED Classes
The CPR/AED course is designed for participants who are not healthcare providers but desire, or are required to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED.
ASHI First Aid/CPR/AED Classes
This combo course meets the required standards for OSHA/L&I. It combines the information and skills needed to provide adult CPR and use of an AED with basic first aid.
ASHI Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Designed for Healthcare Providers and Emergency Medical Services Personnel. Accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One offers ASHI Certified CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS for Healthcare Provider classes throughout the year to our community.
To register for a class:
- You must register in person at the Headquarters Station located at 10222 Bujacich Rd. NW
- Bring bring cash or check (we are currently unable to accept credit or debit cards)
- At time of payment you will receive the textbook & be placed on the roster
Our hours of business are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

What is the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI)?
ASHI training programs are recognized, accepted and approved by, or meet the requirements of, nearly 2,400 state regulatory agencies, occupational licensing boards, national associations, commissions and councils in more than 120 occupations and professions.
ASHI resuscitation training programs are developed and administered by Health & Safety Institute. ASHI training programs are equivalent to the training programs developed and administered by the American Heart Association and the American National Red Cross.
