CPR/AED and First Aid Classes

How to Register:

Please complete the online CPR REGISTRATION FORM and click submit to register.  Registrations are monitored during regular business hours, Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Once staff can confirm space is available for your selected date, you will receive an email with a link to make the required payment electronically.  Payment needs to be received within 24 hours to guarantee the reserved date.  If there is no space available for your selected date, you will receive a phone call with alternate date options.

ASHI* CPR/AED

Fee: $35  (Certification valid for two (2) years)
Class Time Offered: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

The CPR/AED course is designed for participants who are not healthcare providers but desire, or are required to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED.  The course is for individuals that work as lay rescuers such as employees in the workplace, day-care workers, teachers, airline personnel, security guards, or family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death.  This course of instruction covers CPR, choking, and AED for adult, child, and infant.

ASHI* First Aid/CPR/AED

Fee: $45  (Certification valid for two (2) years)
Class Time Offered: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

The Basic First Aid/CPR/AED combo course meets the required standards for OSHA/L&I.  It combines the information and skills needed to provide adult CPR and use of an AED with basic first aid.  The course is intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire, or are required, to be certified in basic emergency medical care.  Perfect for emergency response teams in business and industry, teachers, parents, adult residential care personnel, and babysitters.  The course will provide training to develop basic first aid knowledge and skills along with the confidence to treat choking victims, overdoses and severe allergic reactions: applying a tourniquet and how to stop severe bleeding; the use of an AED with CPR; and providing first aid for acute injuries and sudden illness.

ASHI training programs are recognized, accepted and approved by, or meet the requirements of, nearly 2,400 state regulatory agencies, occupational licensing boards, national associations, commissions and councils in more than 120 occupations and professions. ASHI resuscitation training programs are developed and administered by Health & Safety Institute. ASHI training programs are equivalent to the training programs developed and administered by the American Heart Association and the American National Red Cross.
