Help reduce your home’s wildfire risk with a free Wildfire Ready Neighbors site visit from Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One.
During your visit, a member of our team will walk your property with you and provide practical recommendations to help protect your home from wildfire. You’ll receive information tailored to your property, along with a zone-by-zone action plan based on nationally recognized defensible space guidelines.
What We'll Cover
Immediate Zone: 0–5 feet from your home’s exterior and attached decks.
Intermediate Zone: 5–30 feet from your home, attached decks, and other buildings.
Extended Zone: 30–200 feet from your home, attached decks, and other buildings.
